Day 2

My grandmother is moving to America mid summer. She sent some paperwork with a copy of her passport and four 8x10 photographs of our family.

My mother is younger than I am in this picture. I wonder how terrified she must feel being twenty one, mother of one, and married to a man she can hardly communicate with.

Day 1

She calls me -ry because she doesn't use many two syllable words. She knows the important ones: balloon and football. This is the two of us at a department store causing havoc. It is surprising how many times you can play peek-a-boo with a baby without it getting old.

Project 365

Take a picture a day for 365 days

Why do it?

Taking a photo a day is a big undertaking with big payoffs. Here are just a few reasons why you should consider doing it:

Imagine being able to look back at any day of your year and recall what you did, who you met, what you learned… (Often we find it hard to remember what we did just yesterday or even last night, let alone a whole year ago!)

Your year long photo album will be an amazing way to document your travels and accomplishments, your haircuts and relationships. Time moves surprisingly fast.
